Forward Emails

Save content that arrives in your inbox by forwarding it to your personal Resona address. Perfect for newsletters, paywalled articles, and anything shared via email.

Use Cases

  • Newsletters — Stratechery, Substack, The Hustle, etc.
  • Paywalled content — Articles forwarded from authors or publishers
  • Shared articles — Links or content someone emailed you

Getting Started

1

Get your save address

Go to SettingsSave from mobile and copy your personal save address
2

Forward an email

Forward any newsletter or email content to your save address
3

Find it in your library

The content appears in your library within seconds, with AI-generated summary and insights
Your save address is the same one used for mobile sharing. You only need one address for all email-based saving.

Saving Newsletters

There are two ways to get newsletters into Resona:

Option 1: Subscribe directly with your Resona address

Use your save address when subscribing to a newsletter. New issues go straight to your library automatically.
  1. Go to the newsletter’s signup page
  2. Enter your Resona save address as your email
  3. Each issue arrives in your library automatically

Option 2: Forward existing subscriptions

Already subscribed with your personal email? Forward newsletters to your save address:
  1. Open the newsletter in your inbox
  2. Forward it to your save address
  3. The content appears in your library
Either way, the newsletter title becomes the article title, and the full content is preserved for search and AI chat.

How It Works

When you forward an email to your save address (e.g., [email protected]), Resona will:
  1. Extract any links — If the email contains a URL, Resona saves and processes that article
  2. Save the content directly — If there’s no URL, Resona saves the email body itself as an article
Your content ends up in your library, searchable and summarized like any other article.

Tips

Most email clients let you create rules to auto-forward emails. Set up a filter for your favorite newsletters to forward them automatically to your save address.
Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Superhuman — if it can forward emails, it works with Resona.
Don’t worry about the ”---------- Forwarded message ---------” text. Resona’s AI understands this is noise and focuses on the actual content.
