Local Files
Import markdown files, text files, or entire Obsidian vaults directly from your computer. Resona processes them locally and adds them to your library with full AI insights. How to Import

Obsidian Vaults
Resona automatically detects Obsidian vaults when you select a folder. When a vault is detected:- All markdown notes are imported recursively, including subfolders
- Obsidian-specific files (
.obsidian/config folder, templates) are skipped automatically - Your vault structure is preserved — each note becomes an article in your library
- Frontmatter metadata is respected
Your vault stays on your machine. Resona reads the files locally and only sends the content for AI processing. No sync, no plugins, no changes to your vault.
Importing a Folder
When you select a folder, Resona scans it recursively for supported files. This works for any folder structure, not just Obsidian vaults.Tips
Re-import to update
Re-import to update
Resona does not auto-sync with your local files. To pick up new or edited notes, simply import the folder again. Duplicates are detected and skipped.
